The name of this page comes from the emergency medicine mantra to preserve the life, limb and sight of any one who may present to your emergency department.  We went into emergency medicine to become specialists in resuscitation.  If someone has had a massive heart attack we know what to do next.  If someone has their arm crushed in an accident we know what to do next.  If someone is in danger of losing their vision we know what to do next.  This page is dedicated to discuss all things emergency medicine.  There are plenty of sites to discuss the pathology and practice of emergency medicine.  This page will be a central link to those top sites most helpful to our community.  But more importantly this site is dedicated to discussion of our lives in emergency medicine.
